On a tour to the Orinoco Delta I (barely) got a chance to meet some of the people from the indigenous Warao tribe. But instead of ‘throwing candy at them as we pass by’ (like we were told we should do, read post ‘I F&%$ING HATE TOURS’), I decided to ask (through pointing and smiling) if I can take their photos. These are the photos of the Warao people I met. I just want to thank all the Warao people who let me take their photos. I hope to someday come back in a way where I can actually talk with you and learn your names.
I am a freelance travel and music photographer and creator of GoingNomadic.com. I love music, food, and exploring cities without guidebooks. I've flown a helicopter, hitchhiked down the east coast USA, and once snuck into the back of a zoo (in Serbia) and pet a lion. I am always up for an adventure, and sometimes I videotape them.
