Oh yes, it is time for the 2nd installment of My First Travel Photos.
Because just one is never enough…
This week’s My First travel Photos takes a look at
FOUNTAINS
I have no idea why I have so many photos of fountains. Maybe there is just an exorbitant amount of them in the Balkans. Maybe I heard somewhere that fountains make great photos. Maybe I was wrong….
I call this: “How Far Away Can I Get From The Fountain And Still Cut Off The Top Of The Building?”
Well, at least I got in closer. Too bad the top of the building must have been way to boring to photo. And the horizon is slightly annoyingly skewed. And I decided to just stand in front of the fountain, than say, get on the ground and angle upwards (maybe even catching THE TOP of the f*%&ing building).
And for the creme–of-the-crop: SUPER CLOSE UP OF THE SAME FOUNTAIN! I had an idea. Too bad is wasn’t: Get the exposure on the water correct, make sure the background isn’t stupid, get a cool angle that didn’t cut off the bottom of the water, or stop cutting off the tops of buildings.
Here’s a close up of lions spitting. Cause when lions spit, focusing and framing don’t matter. I mean, unless you WANT a good photo, which obviously, I did not.
This could have been cool if I didn’t blow out of the sky and water so you can’t actually see anything.
Tree – The ‘torso’ of the fountain world.
Framing – how NOT to do it.
Can you guess what is NOT good about this photo?
If you said ‘Everything’, you are correct!
I had more photos of fountains too, mostly of the same ones at different, or virtually the same, angles. But I spare you those.
Why?
BECAUSE NEXT WEEK YOU GET BUILDINGS!
YEA BUILDINGS!
CHEERS!

From Alyson:
I’m really looking forward to buildings! These are the best posts I’ve read in weeks and no sex or ghurkas!
Alyson recently wrote..Coracles in Vietnam
